Smoke Alarms Australia

As you may be aware there are now clear obligations under law for a landlord to provide working smoke alarms in a residential property. It is important that smoke alarms are checked at least annually to ensure that they continue to operate effectively.

At MCM Property Services we ask all of our landlords to agree to a smoke alarm maintenance schedule provided by Smoke Alarms Australia. Swimming Pool Laws

From 29th April 2015 all properties in NSW that have a pool must be inspected by either council or a certified inspector to ensure that the pool complies with swimming pool safety laws. A compliance certificate must then be attached to the Residential Tenancy Agreement as proof of compliance.
